Strongest Solar Flare in Five years

x5 solar flare Strongest Solar Flare in Five yearsWe communicated through our Facebook Page the latest Solar Flares and with them the biggest one in five years. An X5-class solar flare was ejected from sunspot AR1429 on Wednesday 7th, March 2012. It reached Earth yesterday still generating a strong G3 geomagnetic storm.

And now the non-official part: Could we expect earthquakes?

A 6.7 Magnitude earthquake was already reported today in Vanuatu… days before the regular earthquakes magnitudes does not even reach to “6.0″… STAY TUNNED

Arrival of the CME and World Events

Arrival of the CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections) and “opportune” world events:

Strongest Solar Flare since 2005 to hit Earth tomorrow

Gathered data about recent events on Earth that may all be related:

- 19th Jan – spaceweather.com: A long-duration, M3-class solar flare erupted on the Sun Thursday morning, sending a plasma wave of charged particles known as a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) toward Earth at an estimated speed of 630 miles per second. The Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), a solar blast of highly-energetic particles, is expected to arrive at Earth on Saturday (21st Jan 2012)

strongest solar flare since 2005 Strongest Solar Flare since 2005 to hit Earth tomorrow- 22nd Jan – NASA.gov: The sun erupted late on January 22, 2012 with an M8.7 class flare, an earth-directed coronal mass ejection (CME), and a burst of fast moving, highly energetic protons known as a “solar energetic particle” event. The latter has caused the strongest solar radiation storm since September 2005 according to NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center.

NASA’s Goddard Space Weather Center’s models predict that the CME is moving at almost 1,400 miles per second, and could reach Earth’s magnetosphere – the magnetic envelope that surrounds Earth — as early as tomorrow, Jan 24 at 9 AM ET (plus or minus 7 hours).

- 23th Jan - mauitvnews.com: A magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck Monday just off the shore of south-central Chile, the same area devastated by a massive temblor two years ago. But there were no immediate reports of damage and authorities said it would not cause a tsunami.

Spaceweather.com: Solar protons accelerated by this yesterday’s M9-class solar flare are streaming past Earth. On the NOAA scale of radiation storms, this one ranks S3, which means it could, e.g., cause isolated reboots of computers onboard Earth-orbiting satellites and interfere with polar radio communications.

Strange Sounds being heard all over the World

sound wave Strange Sounds being heard all over the WorldThe online community have been spooked by a series of videos uploaded to YouTube and other video sharing websites which appear to show loud noises rumbling apparently from beneath the ground.

People from a wide ranges of cities and countries have uploaded videos.

While some appear to be relatively obvious hoaxes, others remain unexplained and ideas as to what the noises might be range from the mundane to the arguably ridiculous.

Some people on social networking sites, online forums and video sharing sites have suggested the strange noises might be the work of HAARP or High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. HAARP is a US-based research project that studies the ionosphere – a part of the Earth’s upper atmosphere – and it has regularly been the subject of conspiracy theorists’ discussions.

Other people have proposed the sounds might be being caused by cloaked UFOs or Fracking, a controversial method for extracting natural gas from the ground.

We leave you with a recent video (January 2012) sent to “ADG” where someone records this strange sounds and a suspicious light hovering at that moment of the night in Scotland:

Witness report: I was awoken by a loud noise at approx 2.30am yesterday, i went to the window to see if i could find out where the noise was coming from, it was so loud my windows were vibrating, I spotted a bright light in the sky moving about and pulsating, so i grabbed my camera and managed to get some footage. Not sure if the light was making the sound but iv heard of these strange noises from around the world on the internet and i am shocked it has happened here, i thought they were fake. The noise was heard by my neigbours and my local police have had dozens of calls from people who live in the area who heard the noise too, most are elderly and alot of them were terrified. Noise disappeared after about 10 minutes”

You can find a lot of other videos of this same phenomenon recorded this month… some of them probably faked, some others really strange: YouTube search
